How come it takes a long time for a person to understand math?

Answer #1

it didnt take me long. but it could be that math is like blocks and u have to build up to get to the top or something like that cuz thats wat my mom tells my lil sis.

Answer #2

Because its very complicated, and math isn’t always hard for some to learn, I actually am good at math, and I catch on fast. Some people don’t learn math to fast because they don’t have a traditional way of learning, sometimes u must show someone a couple differant ways to do it so they can find the way that’s best for them

Answer #3

sames good at math but i need paper to work out the prob.

Answer #4

Yeah I sometimes need paper to, its like numbers just come naturally for me, my friens love to take me to the store and stuff cuz my brain does those numbers so well

Answer #5

It might simply be because they have different learning skills than the ones that they are being tought with. I learn math fast the way the teacher teaches it, but other kids do it a different way and prefer to solve problems their own way and stuff. And that’s ok, all you have to do is try to find your way of learning a certain things, and what works best for you. This way it does not seem so hard, because you are doing it a way you can, and understand it better.

Answer #6

Answer #7

Answer #8

Because it’s so darn hard. >:/

Answer #9

MAth has something to do with order and numbers. Every person has different ability related to their dominant part of brain. Some people are left brain dominant, and this person must be good at math, some who are right- brain dominant must find it difficult with math. This type of people are good at art and so on…

Answer #10

Depends on how you learn, and what part of your brain is the strongest. I have a terrible time with langues (mostly spelling) and other slightly more abstract things. Logical puzzles confuse the hell outa me, and I have never been overly great with any of the arts. But math, science, and other orderly things make perfect sense to me.

Answer #11

Not necessarily. My boyfriend and I are both right brain dominant, yet he was brilliant at math and I was extremely good at it as well as art. I think personally that it depends on the learning style of the person as well as willingness to learn. Often times people have a negative connotation related to it and that lead them to give up before they even tried.

Answer #12

Alot of kids struggle in school and it just takes alot of practice..some kids of have weakness’s and strengths…my weakness is math and my strength is language arts.

Answer #13

You are right. But it is also scientifically proven that being partly brain dominant has influence on who well someone could master certain subject. Otherwise like you and your boy must be talented people. There are these people who are not good and find it difficult to learn new language.

Answer #14

how*

Answer #15

I agree with you to an extent, but I still maintain that anyone can get good at learning ANYTHING with the right attitude.
