Can syphilis cause acne?
My friend told me she knew a girl that may have it and also it can make them gain weight…?!?!?!
Technically no, but the syphillis rash can look like acne. So to answer your question, basically yes.
If you have syphilis you need to get treated ASAP, if your acne goes away then theres your answer. If not sorry I guess you just have acne.
No…it may or may not cause a sore or an ulcer at the infection site…and then it can stay in the body for a long time without any symptoms. The final stages, however, are very serious, as syphilis invades the nervous system, and the brain….(this can be as long as 30 years after the intial infection).
There are many possiblie signs of syphilis, but acne and weight are not among them.
