Do you have any symbols you wear daily?

What are they and why do you wear them? Jewelry, tattoo’s, anything. Myself, I wear my Thor’s Hammer pretty much every day. It shows my preferences religiously, to a point, and it’s also a symbol of protection. I have another one hanging in my vehicle for that reason =P I also have a spear necklace that I haven’t taken off since I got it. It’s just my preferred weapon at the moment. I have Thor’s hammer earrings i wear on occasion that often get mistaken for inverted crosses- I used to have a necklace in the same fashion- so I find myself explaining that to a lot of people. How about you? And stories you have to share?

A necklace with a ‘Ankh’ charm and another one that I can best describe as a charm of ‘The Hamsa Hand’. My bestfriend brought me both charms as gifts - one for christmas and one for my birthday - which has to do with a lot of why I wear them. However, the reason she brought them for me is because I’ve admired similar charms ( she has a ‘Hasma hand’ one) / mentioned my fondness for the ankh.

When she brought the Hasma hand charm, she was told it was for warding off ‘evil spirits’ and that (traditionally it’s to ward off the evil eye). Even though I’m not particularly a believer of things like that, they interest me a lot and I enjoy reading about them. With the Ankh, I enjoy Egyptian history (especially their religion / mythology) and I really liked that the Ankh resembled ‘life’ etc. Sorta a reminder to live my life as I feel it should.

What? How could he do that? How was it against the rules? If I was told to take off my hammer, I’d tell whoever told me that to shove it, it’s important to me. Was there any meaning behind the choker?

My tats! I have a one eyed jack of spade on my right arm in memory of my father. My left arm is a little difficult to explain but here it goes: An orange sun with a blue crescent moon in the bottom with a ray of light shining into a prism, which produces a rainbow (like Pink Floyd’s dark side of the moon), and the rainbow narrows into an orange drop of poison coming out of a green scorpion’s tail…..Make sense? It actually sounds WAY more complicated than it looks. lol
