Is swine flu curable?

how are we going to stop this new flu? is this uncureable. I live in illinois so am safe. but still people is dying from this. and so far I havnt heard of a cure?. is there 1?

Answer #1

yes its curable. its been on the news, they have prescriptions you can get for it and it knocks it out in 3 days or so. as people said the only reason people are dying in mexico is b/c they were ill to begin with and also they dont have the treatments we do here in the states. also, pigs (or any other meat) has NOTHING to do with it, that was a bunch of lies and crap smebody decided to post everywhere.

Answer #2

I think they are working on a vaccine, but im not sure, and I live in Wisconsin, so hopefully im safe too. what I want to know is how it started. like how it got from the pig to the human. I mean really. come on. dont be touching pig crap, and ull be fine, but no, someone had to go and do it. or something like that.

Answer #3

Just be thankful that you live in a country will some means to treat it. The only reason people are making a big deal about it is because people have died from it in mexico. Mexico doesn’t have the means to treat it as we do. I mean people have died because of the normal flu and there is no cure for that either. Just because there’s no cure doesn’t mean its not treatable or your doomed to die.

Answer #4

You don’t get the Swine Flu by EATING pigs. You only get it by associating with pigs or people who have already caught the disease.

Don’t think you are safe just because you’re in Illinois. If it is going to spread, it will spread through all 50 states.

There is no cure but there are a couple of medicines that, taken early, will lesson the symptoms and speed up the healing process.

The best prevention is to wash your hands often and don’t associate with people who appear sick.

i hope you do not take offense,         To that that’s gone before;         ’Tis only that it’s my two-cents,         And not one penny more. §;o)

Answer #5

Unfortunately it is almost impossible to stop the Swine Flu completely unless every country turn away incoming flights.

The Swine Flu is curable but only if you have the virus diagnosed by a medical practitoner as the symptoms are very similar to the common cold.

We had the bird flu, mad cow disease and now Swine Flu, what would be next…vegetables are looking mightly delicious at the moment :)

Answer #7

as long as it is treated within 48 hours people are fine. it is treatable. this is not the first time there has been an outbreak of the swine flu.

Answer #8

not yet, but soon I hope
