Will cold water get rid of sunburn redness?

Okay, so I went to the beach, and tanned. After the beach, I went to a friends house to look in the mirror, and I was pink. But it didn’t burn like sunburn. I’m just pink -_- Any advice how to get me unpink ?!

next time you are in the sun use a high spf and dont worry it is sunburn and like all sunburns, it will fade !

I know one that works for sure but its pretty expensive.. take a bath in milk.. it works I asure you… but, I don’t know if you would want to spend so much milk =P

Do this in the nighttime! Get an aloe very leaf and cut it open (make sure it’s fresh). Spread the natural gel from the leaf all over your face…don’t wash it. After 15 minutes of leaving on the aloe vera, get some aloe vera JUICE, dip a cotton ball in the juice until it’s soaking wet, and spread all over your face. Leave on for 15 minutes (I know it feels weird, but hang in there when you do it!) Then rinse with cold water. Avoid putting anything greasy on your face (vaseline, lotion) as this will lock the heat in. Redness comes from the heat. Therefore, you want the heat OUT.

Go to sleep like regular, and in the morning, hopefully the redness would’ve gone done a little. I tried this a few days ago; I had gotten sunburnt, and I desperately wanted to get rid of the red, so I did that, went to sleep, and the next morning I woke with a much more clear face! Try it.

Next time, I recommend slathering on Neutrogena Dry-Touch 70+ SPF Sunblock all over yourself. It’s kind of pricy, but the high SPF is worth it! Try to stay out of the sun!
