Sun & tattoo
I just got a tatto 3 days ago. I went to mexico it was realy hot about 130. My tatto was just starting to heal now it look like its dry and its stared to crak and peal is that ok also my tatto is were the sun was hitting it.
There is a reason we say to stay out of sun and water for 6 weeks. After 3 days your tattoo is nowhere near healed. You could mess up the tattoo buy not using proper care. Go and see the artist who tattooed you for a brush up on after care and to see if you did any damage.
make sure to keep it covered up or put lots of sunblock on it. dont pick the scabs and keep it moisturized. I used aquaphor on all mine.
Yes, that happens…it’ll end up a bit lighter in the area that got all the sun, too. Didn’t they tell you to keep it covered for a few weeks? :)
