No, specially in big quantities. Same with cool drinks and even juice! Its unhealthy to get sugar in if it is not in its natural form, like honey or fruit. You need the fibres in fruit with the sugar - it helps digestion, and prevents you from not consuming to much sugar- example think of the amount of sugar if you drink a glass of orange juice (1glass=about4/5 oranges) and when you eat an orange- you feel full after one or two oranges.
You need other nutrients besides sugar, so ya it's bad for you by itself. Juice still has plenty of good stuff even though it's not as good as whole fruit.
