This is exactly what happened with my Lhasa. There was a stye (or what I thought was a stye) called the vet scheduled appt, next morning gone! I think if it comes back, we are definitely going to the vet!

Just go to the store and buy the store brand (least expensive) soft contact cleaning solution. Put it in your dogs eye several times a day. This is the same thing the Vet will give you. This also works on pink eye in humans.

Actually any contact cleaning solution.

Check with your Vet also: Typical treatment for a sty consists of applying warm compresses to the affected eye for 10 to 15 minutes four times daily for several days. This not only relieves pain and inflammation but also helps the sty ripen faster. Be sure to close your eye while you apply the compresses. When the sty comes to a head, continue applying warm compresses to relieve pressure and promote rupture. Do not squeeze the sty. Let it burst on its own. http://www.webmd.com/eye-health/understanding-sty-treatment

Hope she’s better soon !!

make a brine solution of 1 quart of water and 2 tablespoon salt heat on stove til boiling . put it in a container that you want to throw away and a disposable rag as well soak your dogs eye with the fairly warm solution it should bust within a day or two. WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER MESSING WITH THE DOGS EYE stys are usually a type of staph infection…good luck

Hmm, I think when my brother had it he had to put hot water onto a cotton bud and rub it on the eye, I might be wrong but I think it is something along those lines :)
