What is the stuff they put in flower bouquets?
My boyfriend got me a bouquet of flowers, but instead of water there’s this weird white stuff in the vase.. it gets everywhere and it’s kind of like…. not foam, but something like that.. anyway, am I still supposed to put water, or does that stuff take care of it?
oh mabey its corck kinda stuff they put to protect glass and stuff
It’s sugar to feed the flowers and chemicals to slow the growth of algae and bacteria. These bacteria not only make the water smell, they clog up the stems and reduce the water uptake.
