Strange behavior with my computer monitor, how to fix?
When I open a site it comes up in a narrow verticle band about 1/4th of the screen. This just started a few days ago and I would like to know how to correct this problem. Thanks. Another odd thing is that my Inbox in Yahoo indicates 3 messages regardless how many are actually there. Any ideas or solutions?? Thanks again.
Someone resized your IE window. Double click the (usually blue) bar and see if the window maximizes. You can also go to download.com and get IEMaximizer. It is a little program that makes sure your windows open fully.
Another odd thing is that my Inbox in Yahoo indicates 3 messages regardless how many are actually there.
That would be your spam filter folder that has the new email, I think - not your regular inbox. Try clearing those out & refresh the screen.
For the monitor problem, have you tried adjusting the settings to see if it got fixed?
