What is straight hair rebonding?

I have curly hair and I wish it was straight. So I heard about straight hair rebonding.But what exactly is straight hair rebonding? If you have it can you go in the water without your hair to go curly again? Or can you tight your hair in a poney tail? And how much does it cost and how long does it last. Please help me and anwser my qustion.

Straight hair rebonding is almost like relaxers yet they use stronger chemicals. Its last 3 months if you have super curly hair, 6 months if you wavy and a year if you have semi-straight hair. You can wash your hair after a 2-3 days,and you can tie it up after a month. The only thing with this is you have to use a lot of conditioner or your hair will become coarse and extremely dry due to the chemicals. According to your hair type thickness and what not it could cost anywhere from $250 to $400 just have to check around your area.

im not sure what that is… and i want to know. lol i dont have curly hair, i have straight hair, but if some one does answer this, then i will be glad to learn something new. =)
