How do I stop my new ear piercings from closing (read more)?

I got my secound set of ear piersings at clairs back in febuary and switched them out at the right time and always cleaned them when it said to. back in auguest is when they said i could take them out and sence i have they seem to still be closeing when ever i take out earrings or sleep without them. Is it because of the clairs cleaning stuff? where they wrong about when to take them out? how can i make them heal faster?

i had my second hole done about 3 years ago and i took mine out after 2 weeks i still leave mine out and they always seem to close up every now and then i just push mine back through. they arnt painful at all when i do this its just when i leave them out for a little while. but if it is painful to push them back through then go to clairs and ask them i mean its been a while sense u had them done i couldnt understand why you wouldnt be fine to leave them out.

Okay first off, all piercings are like that, in order to keep them pierced you need to leave them in a very long time because when skin is damaged like a piercing its natural response is to heal up or close. you can still keep the earnings in and clean them, You should work on your spelling a lil bit xD.

I got my ears gauged to a 14 and they closed pretty fast as well. I had to get the end of a needle (not the pointy side) and stick it back in then I put my gauge in. I suggest you leave it in and use salt water to help with the healing. Best of luck.
