Answer #1

Sorry I don’t know the answer to this but if you’re coughing up blood I’d say make your way to a doctor - fast. Good luck

Answer #2

Go to a doctor. You could have something serious like Pneumonia or Tuberculosis.

Answer #3

I know its not what you want to hear, but I think you should head for the Dr/hospital.

To calm coughing you could try a warm honey drink or tea with honey.

I hope you feel better soon

Answer #6

Answer #9

Answer #10

avoid any irritants and if it persists,, take any antihistamines …eg cpm tabs

Answer #11

Do you have a favorite hard candy? Like a peperment or something along those lines. It’s its like using a cough drop but you can suck on as many as you want because there in no medication in the candy. Hope this helps. Good luck and feel better.

Answer #12

idk i really think doctor is good idea, i dont think coughing blood is normal, has anyone shot u lately??? lol just trying to lighten the mood i hope u fell better very soon and ill try to find some info

Answer #13

This is a ridiculous idea. Cough drops work ‘cause of the medication in them. Saying to suck on sugar would do nothing but irritate the throat, and this therefore fails as advice.

Answer #14

Do some research….you don’t have to take meds to make you feel better.

Answer #15

I have done research. You can get the ‘placebo’ effect. But if you’re sucking sugar then that’s going down your throat and irritating it. The placebo effect doesn’t work for cough drops. Do some research yourself.

Answer #16

Oh we are not going to get along. I read the question and I answered how I would fix it, if you don’t like it thats fine but there is no reason to be rude.

Answer #17

There’s no reason why we shouldn’t get along. I was merely pointing out that your advice was shiit and advising readers to not follow it. I have noticed a consistency in you giving uninformed answers, and I’d recommend that in future you actually put some thought into a question before you answer it.

Answer #18

I’m not just some TEEN on the computer hanging out….I read what I can and say what I can before one of my children need me. Sorry if I don’t answer the way you would like…don’t read what I have to say.

Answer #19

Sorry I don’t understand your response.. you seem to be talking crap. Sucking sweets DOES NOT hold off a cough. I’m talking from common sense, experience and general knowledge. You’re clearly just too ignorant to accept anyone else’s point of view. I was just saying that your answer doesn’t actually work. I think you should calm down, and actually read the question, not pretend to or skim it and fill in the blanks.

Answer #20

OKAY.

Answer #21

Make your way to a clinic or hopsital.

Answer #22

WELL DONE.

Answer #23

Generic cough medicine, cough drops.. or as Emily said, call a doctor.

Answer #24

If blood is coming out best thing is to go to the doctor.

Answer #25

i cant get to the doctors lol there is tooo much snow to drive and we live in the middle of nowhere FML! but ty anyway the ones that helped the most was the honey drink (i added some hot wiskey lol) the hard boiled sweets was a good one and weirdly enough ice lollies help ALOTA more that any cough medicine did lol thank you everyone! x

Answer #26
