How can stop my cat from jumping on my bird's cage?

My Cat is always Jumping on the bird cage and no matter where i put the bird cage, he always seems to scare my poor little bird, is there a way i can stop this?

I have a hamster and two kittens and have this problem. You will need to either 1) put the bird cage out of reach, so maybe hang it from the ceiling somewhere there is not a shelf the cat can stand on nearby, so it can’t jump and grab it. 2) Put the cage in a room the cat does not go in (this is what I do). Just make one room of your house off limit to the cat and always shut the door behind you when you go in or out and if the cat goes in when you open it, then put them straight out again so they learn.

Cats are natural predators, so if the bird is there and accessible they will jump on the cage.

Try moving the cage to a different location or maybe plut it higher where the cat cant get it.
