How can I convince my parents to let me go into public school?

ok so I am in a private school and I am trying to convince my mom to let me go to the public high school, but my parents keep saying that god is more important than haveing a fun school, and I agree and all but just because I go to a public school doesnt mean that I am going to turn away from god rite?and they always say that they now what is best for me but wouldnt I know what is best for me? anyways I have tried all I can and I need more advice, so does anyone have tips to help me convince my parents to let me go back to public school?

Dear megs95969, Well you are not alone; many who are in private want to be in public and many in public want to be in private. It’s a common dilemma wanting what we don’t/can’t have. You’ve already spoke with your parents about going to public and you haven’t convinced them. Ask yourself what would it take to convince them? Is public school academically superior to private? Does the public system have better teachers? Are the courses better in public? You need to do your homework and show them proof. Sue..good luck

my dad is so cheap. no offense but he is. he hates paying for the expesive things my mom buys for me. see if your parents will change their mind when you tell them that private schools cost 100 times more than public schools.

Ok so I used to go to a private school and then I moved to a public school. I made more friends there than private school. The people were nicer and I felt that I fit in better. Im so glad that I changed schools! No, you are not “running away from God” by going to a public school. You can still keep your religous beliefs by going to church on sunday. Tell your parents that they could save money by not having to pay for private school tu`ision. Also tell them that you could still mantain your religion even at a public school. Good luck!
