STD / how do I know if I have a sex transmited disease?

I am pretty sure I have never slept with anyone who has had a disease but every year I still get that worry that something just may pop up. Does anyone know the most common diseases that show symptoms? Every year I have been negative for everything but I still hear that little voice in the back of my head. And now im with someone I love dearly and dont want anything to go wrong… any advice? besides the dr lol

You should get an STD screening, which can be done at most family planning clinics or any gynocologist. There a doctor can discuss treatment options for whatever type of STD you may have.

Well lady as we are all human you know that sex is hella better with out condoms. see i thought the same an still do!! when i was 16 i slep with a cute popular boy petty sexy well adso on we dank kissed found emty room and got freaky. well i got clamidia.. popular boy popular std..this std is undetectable i only found out yearly pap.i was so embaressed.well my point is i do know some signs herpies you can see on your vag area it may burn. gonoriea>mabey not spelled correct.well i think what i read in planned parent hood office booklet ha!ha! is that a abnormal discharge is apparent mabey differnt smell.i do know vag warts are very contageious and never is cured. well if reading lit. on std is all to much there you go.its not much but a little..get tested and stay positve no matter the turn out..

I just found out I have herpes after about 2 days of searching the net and one doctors appointment i will never forget. It hurts like hell and looks like someone hung christmass decoration off of my upper pubic area. I (luckly) can find humor out of this but I have a disease that will remind me of one stupid night for the rest of my life. I used a condom and still got herps in my upper pubic region. Bottom line, when in doubt say no. It wont hurt you in the long run to not get laid one night out of the week, although it may seem like it :O) My dumb ass mistake should be your warning call!

it depends on what kind of std you have some can me cured, and some can’t you can look up on the internet for symptoms of stds, sometimes it can be a rash down south, or anywhere else. some, like aids and hiv, you don’t have any noticible sypmtoms. you should go and see your doctor if you have a question about if you have an std or not. you should do this sooner rather than later.

a friend told me once that you should always find out if your lover, or soon-to-be-husband has stds or not. you don’t want to wakeup on your honey-moon and read a card that says -roses are red violets are blue, i have aids and so do you-

you can go to the doctor and get it all checked out!!! and some stds you can cure and some of them you can’t get rid of you are stuck with that for the rest of your life!! so becareful and be protected and choose the people you have sex with wisely
