Okay... so I've been doing a lot of serious thinking lately... and Im not sure marriage in general is the right choice for me... Im just not sure if its something I want to do... BUT, being a mother someday is the most important thing in the world to me...
My question is... do you think its okay to be a single mother?
...Im in college right now to become a Spanish Teacher... so I would be working while my child is in school, and I'd be home when they are home... so time wouldnt be an issue. my mother also isnt a fan of marriage...after being in a terribly abusive marriage that could have ended tragicly...she remarried a really great guy. but if she could do it all again, she would've been happier as a single mom with children.
I completley agree with her, and also think id be happiest in my life as a single mom with one child...possibly another if I end up meeting my "soul-mate"(that changes my views on marriage), or after my first child has gotten older.
I wouldnt have my baby until I've been working in my career for a veryy long time, and had saved up enough money to be financially stable.
Also, I would most likely use a sperm bank.
my question is... what are your thoughts about this?
I think there's nothing wrong with being a single mom, besides, it's YOUR decision, other people can suck it if they don't like it.
