The thing about feelings is that they don’t really go away unless you deal with them. Going through a breakup stinks majorly, but it is a big event in your life. When something shakes you up inside like that, you can’t push it down. You need to set some time aside to think things through, accept what has happened, and work on healing. Even if you need to focus on the ACT, you need to focus on yourself and your needs too so that you actually can put yourself into other things.
