How do I start off a public speaking career?

How do i know the areas to concetrate more on? how exactly do i start?

Start off by going to your County Council and see if you can get an internship. at first they probably wont pay you but if you do good, they will realize they need you and will pay you. then from there, just work up the ranks. also, get yourself well known throughout your area as a good citizen. volunteer and help out. then they will vote for you provided you’re smart. thats not saying someone who isnt smart wont do good. as for the areas to concentrate on, look around you. what is a big issue in your area? are the schools not providing up-to-date textbooks? or is there no recycling routes? ask questions like this to yourself, or ask the opinions of the people. ask them what they want to see get done

talk about a topic that you really care about research it daily to see if new things happen as to where to speck i’m not so sure maybe like make a song or poem about it when going to a coffee shop mostly i agree with 11inchwonder^^

This is easy. Go to a TOASTMASTER’s meeting. These people meet and help each other on public speaking and can give you all kinds of helpful advice, and tell funny stories too. You may meet a lot of geezers, but they also have great advice. And public speakers need to network to get speaking jobs. They will help with that too.
