Star tattoo

If you tattoo 3 stars on your wrist does it mean something? My dad thinks its something for alaska but I think hes wrong.

It means a different thing to each person. If they are Nautical stars, it traces back to the Navy. The Nautical star means “to protect and guide.”

Then there was a period of time when women would tattoo stars on their wrists to signify homosexuality and would get the stars as a symbol to “show them the way.”

The meaning depends on the person.

I live in Alaska and there is 3 stars on the state flag. So yes he’s right.
