Yes trust me! I straighten my hair every day! In any type of water - rain, humidity, fog, and showers- it WILL go back (unfortunally for me!)

u have temporary straightening or permanant… go for temporary first to see how he looks..may be later you can try permnant… first of all what I want to say is…its not your hair its your brothers…so why mess with it? he might not like it. so be careful. good luck

Does your brother want his hair straighten or YOU? That’s the real question. You already know the answer. Ok, if you chemically straighten his hair, it will be a while before returning to it’s natural state. He will have regrowth that will be curly from the roots while the rest of his hair is straight. If you use heat as a straightner, after washing, it will or shall I say hopefully go back. It’s your brothers choice,let him choose. It’s not what YOU want and it’s not YOUR head that he is going to be angry about because YOU want his hair straight. That’s if he doesn’t like it. Think that one over.
