What do I wear to a spring formal

Im going to my spring formal but its semi formal and I have no idea what to wear!! Its the 16th (of may!) and I have no dresses. well I do but I want a new one. heres some info but you dont have to use it: the “theme” is tropical paradise, but people dont necessarily dress for the theme, and I have a heart of the ocean necklace like the one from titanic (1997) and im dying to wear it, and my friends are sooo anxious for me to wear it to a dance. look it up on image search google or ask.com. please send links or pictures to me of possible dresses!!

wear a dress that is dressy but isnt like an evening gown or something that is meant for a prom. Get it in a bright color like hot pink,yellow or bright turquoise and then it will look tropical. Or you could wear a white beachy kind of dress. I found 2 dresses that I think would look good, but it’s just my opinion of course
