can the black spots kill my goldfish?

no I dont think. All my aunt’s goldfish were born black and gradually turned orange but when they were almost orange they had black spots left. is this what you r seeing?

yeah… its a fish disease… you need to go to the pet store and ask the fish expert what tablets to put in your tank… if your fish dies before you do that… dont just buy new fish to put in you have to kill the bacteria in the tank first or you’ll just give it to your fish… good luck…

yes, its called ick you can treat it by buying ick treatment and follow the directions to a T, but yes, they will die from it if not treated and since they already do have it, there is no guarentee they will make it, but change the water and treat the water with ick treatment..it comes in a small bottle (liquid) can buy it at walmart in the pet section or any pet store,,it doesnt cost but a few dollars.
