Spiking or Teasing?

I don’t know if it’s the same thing or not, but I want to put my hair up, but I don’t know how. How do you tease your hair? or Spike it? I don’t know how… my hair has a hard time standing up, even with wax. I don’t think I’m using it right.

depends how do you want it to look like? teasing you grab sections of your hair that is close to your scalp and like brush it down.. you should do what danidopee said.. check it in youtube.

this just isn’t working… I’ll keep trying, but it seems to be getting nowhere. :(

Try back-combing your hair. get a fine toothed comb and underneath large sections of your hair (not on the top as it will look like a birds nest) run the comb against the hair shaft in short strokes (like you are brushing your hair but in the opposite direction). It will give you volume and lift.

you should try to go on youtube and type in your question keep looking through ad youl find tutorials that girl make that are really helpful.
