What about Kraven The Hunter?

Actually, all I can offer is theories.

First, I see a numbering pattern: movie number-1.

Spiderman 1: the exception. 1-1=0, so we wouldn’t have a movie. Spiderman 2: 2-1=1, and Doc Ock was the bad guy. Spiderman 3: 3-1=2; and Venom and Sandman were the bad guys. Spiderman 4: 4-1=3, so there’s a possibilty of having 3 villains.

So far we’ve seen Venom, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, and Sandman. Except for (or including? I don’t know…) Sandman, they’ve all been considered Spiderman’s arch-enemy at one time or other. Next, we might see Lizard as one, b/c we’ve seen Doc Conners for awhile…IMO it’s time to see some scales on the guy! Second, we may see Scorpion. I doubt J. Jonah Jameson is too happy about all the recent chaos during the timeframe of the last 3 movies…which is why he might finance Scorpion’s creation. Scorpion poses a threat b/c first, his scorpion instincts (scorpions eat spiders…), and also he has almost all of Spiderman’s abilities, except he slings acid instead of webs. I’m also hoping for Electro, this time purely out of curiosity of how his powers would look in the movie. It’s pretty obvious how Electro poses a threat, right?

I don’t think we’ll see Hobgoblin, b/c Goblins…have already made their run. For Hobgoblin to be introduced, they’d also have to include Felicia Hardy/ Black Cat, and maybe Morbius. That’s a little much for one movie to take. I also don’t think we’ll see Carnage. Having him in the mix actually cheapens Eddie Brock/ Venom, b/c they have almost the same powers, except Carnage can suck out body fluids shudders I really, REALLY hope we don’t see him…

Filming rumored to start in 2010:

According to one source, not only will Baker finally become The Lizard in Spider-Man 4, but we’ll also have to contend with a certain villain known as Carnage. Spider-Man 4 would have to go a little bit “darker” than its predecessors to accurately capture the Carnage story, which focuses on a serial killer called Cletus Kasady who comes into contact with some of Eddie Brock’s “symbiote” goo while they’re both stuck in prison. I’m sorry, but that rumor you found DOESN’T CHECK OUT. Eddie Brock/ Venom DIED in Spiderman 3, remember?? He blew up, so unless Venom can come back from that, (and the Symbiote was OFF of Brock at the time) then the only way Carnage could rationally appear would be for ANOTHER Symbiote to fall from space. Sorry, but some people just post random CRAP on the internet, and even the best of us get tricked. Sorry!
