Answer #5

“… (ಠ_ಠ) …” - what ME ? - a Pumpkin Head ?

Answer #6

Traditionally when my GK’s where little I used to take them to a place called Apple Holler in WI. Take them through the corn mazes, the kid obstacle courses, made from Hay, the Haunted barn (all mother goose themes) and then the wagon ride through the haunted apple orchard (basically fairys) then apple pick. The place was designed for little ones and they loved it. Nowdays they head to the haunted houses and places where the scarrier the better. Grandma almost had a heart attack the last time she tagged along……so I’m on pause till I become a Great Grandma and go back to apple holler with some little ones again.

Answer #7

You mean you haven’t figured out some terrifying dress up to answer the door and scare the kids into dropping the candy bags at your door and running? :)

Answer #8

I can figure one out - but why scare them away when it is so much more fun to turn the hose-pipe on them ?

Answer #9

Yeah but then don’t you have wet sticky candy laying all over the yard?

Answer #10

But wet candy makes excellent bait for various furry animals - how else can I be expected to intice the quarry into range so that I can satisfy my All Hallows breakfast tradition: spit roast Halloween Cat.

My mom always makes my brother, my dad, myself, and our dog these little treat bags with candy in them. I guess that counts :o Other than that, we don’t have a special tradition.

Answer #15

Craving pumpkins, eating candy, and handing out candy

Answer #16

Do you prefer the multi colored cats or the succulent all black ones ?

Answer #17

There’s not a lot of difference once the fur has been singed off, but I do find that a bit of cinnamon improves the flavour of ginger tom-cats, while a bit of herb fennel complements the delicate liquorice flavour of the architipal halloween black cat.

Answer #18

Buy myself a bag of candy… and eat it :D

Answer #19

Usually I spend a lot of time annoying everyone by telling them how much I hate halloween
