How can I become a sound foly artist?

Foley is the reproduction and recording of mundane sounds for use in film-making. Get a high-end audio recording system and a music-oriented custom PC and start a “portfolio” of realistic sounds for use in movies, like brains (simulated) splattering or a knock on a door or a cow mooing, etc… Take your portfolio of sounds (once it’s well developed) to a sound studio, radio station, or publishing agency. I’m sure there are universities out there who would teach you the art of Foley as well.

ummm never did well in school and possibly cannot get into uni….actually its just a hobby and being n Australia its hard to be a foly artist….
