"smokey" eyeshadow.. know how to do it??
anyone know how to do the “smokey” eyeshadow thingy?? I think it looks so pretty but I don’t know how to do it.. when I try doing it I look like a racoon :/
yyyep. concentrate the dark shadow juss above your crease [the part where your top eyelid folds]. juss a tiny strip if your eyeshadow is very matte and opaque like mine. once you do that, take a slightly poofy-er brush than the one you used to pack the shadow on with, and blend it upward and a little outward.. in a sorta buffing movement. that will smooth out the harsh lines that happens when you first pack it on. take an even poofy-er brush, and go from side-to-side over the shadow towards the top to give it that fadiing-at-the-top look that is the “smokey eye” :) it’s hard to explain in words, it’d be less confusing if I could show u. also: keep it in control. don’t get any shadow on u.r inner corners of u.r eyes..that gives that raccoon look.
