How can I help my kitten's poop smell better?

Okay, My two kittens, are the same age (4 1/2 months old) and both weigh 10 lbs (yes they are big boys) One of them has terrible smelling farts, like stinky enough to make you gag. Both of them have horrible smelling feces, but they don’t really have diarrhea. They were wormed twice (two weeks apart) when I first got them and were treated for fleas. They have been wormed again recently seeing as the farting has started up again (which I know is a sign of worms) I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make their farts and feces less smelly? Even when they were wormed, they still had stinky pooh. Any insights would be helpful.

Are you using kitten food/ formula or adult cat food/ milk? Kittens nutritional needs are vastly different from that of adult cats. Alternatively, ask your vet or a local pet store about supplements they might take to make up what is lacking in their diet and causing this problem.

Or, keep an eye on them to see if they’re eating anything or being fed anything (by your children, perhaps, if you have them) that they shouldn’t eat. Cheese produces particularly noxious gas from my young adult cat, as my younger sister discovered.

Thanks to “Take A Whiff”(T.M.), a “dietary supplement that acts as a fecal deodorizer.” You take two pills a day, your poop doesn’t stink. Some components of the pills promote the growth of bacteria that break down sulfur compounds in poop, while others break down the sulfur compounds directly. The result: following a few days of diarrhea while your bowels are getting used to it, your poop comes out sans sulfur. No sulfur, no smell. This product is intended for human consumption; however, it can be used in smaller doses for critters too. Just take a quarter to half a pill, crush it and sprinkle on your feline friend’s food. You will be amazed! You may even actually say… “Now that’s some GOOD SHIT!”

If you are using any special formulas or feeding them any chocolate or milk, this might be the case, not the worming. If you want to make your cat’s feces smell better, there’s no way to do that, but if your cat uses a litterbox,I reccomend getting heavy scented litter so you don’t smell your cat’s feces at all.Making your cat’s fresh or old poop is impossible, however,a type of food that your cat could it may possibly alternate they’re digestive system to make the poop smell less disgusting. But this is seriously dangerous, and may harm your cat.Don’t try this at all means, for the sake of your cat and his life. I hope this helped!
