Slowcooker
So we just bought a slowcooker, and decided to test it out today making sloppy joes.. We get everything all ready, put into the slow cooker, go to turn it on, and it wont turn on… Would it be safe to cook it in the oven? Or would stovetop be best?

You’re not planning on putting the crock in the oven, are you?
Since everything is already mixed together, you can place it in a covered casserole dish and then place it in the oven. I don’t recommend pan frying it once it’s mixed.
Definitely bring that slow cooker back to the store, though.
