a little story for you, when I was in high school, we all knew this one girl was sleeping with the wood shop teacher, they must have kept it hidden good, whe was over 18 and she was in 12th grade, well when she graduated they got married and had a daughter and no one was in trouble, However in this story you say the person is not a minor, then I would think that the only thing that could happen is the teacher could loose his job and really damage his career as a teacher, If the girl is a adult and and almost out of school, I would stop, and keep it very hush hush and when the girl is out of school and it was true love then continue with what you had and no one can do a thing about it. I don’t understand the big deal in this quesion, because it was stated that the girl was not a minor so are we talking college teacher or high school? if you are talking high school then the girl will be out soon and they can see eachother as much as they want with no worries

He’s not going to jail if you’re over age. Breaking a school rule or an ethical rule is not going to put someone in jail. However, if someone finds out his career could be ruined. He would not be hired anywhere else. Wait till you graduate and then you can date him…

The rules are never really fair. Especially when sex with a minor is involved. When I said no good can come of it I meant legally. We see this on the news all the time, the adult is always made out to look like the asshole. The people never want to hear about how great their relationship was or how great the sex was. All they care about is the numbers. Unfortunately under 18 is not a good number. Its not cool and it sux but thats how it is.

That relationship would need to end. They can take his teaching license away and he would most likely be in jail. They would probably call him a petifile

Ya, if anyone found out that would be a bad thing for the teacher. He would lose his license and most likely go to prison. Not jail, but prison. Has this gone on for a while??? My advice to this “hypothetical” question is to get out now and cut all ties.
