Sleeping issue

Why do some people jerk in their sleep? Like kinda jump type of thing?

What mandyloo said and also sometimes when people are just falling asleep they jerk a bit, it is usually their brain still being very active.

apparently I kept having muscle spasms and stuff, and my dream was, it isnt that clear, but that I was running. like getting chased. sort of makes sense.

I do it but only when im falling off a buiding or something in my dreams.lol
