Sims Downloads

Ok, I know there are Sim download sites but I don’t know how. Like I click download and it downloads, but how do you download so you can use it on the Sims games?

most things you download for the sims games are in .rar format, which basically means they’re compressed down to a really small size. in order for your computer to read these, you need a program like AlphaZip (which you can download online for free). once you get AlphaZip, load it, and it’ll come up with options. click on open, and select the file you downloaded. then you have to select everything in the box that pops up, and click “extract to…” and chose My Documents, EA Games, The Sims 2, Downloads. once you do that, it should load into your game automatically.
