Sims2 Castaway Question

So I have Sims2 Castaway for PS2 and I’m almost finished with it, but I’ve been stuck at the end forever so I gave up. I need to make a catamaran to get off the island and I have all the materials I need to make it except for sandalwood. I’ve looked EVERYWHERE on all the islands like four times and I can’t find it anywhere!! Where do you find sandalwood??!!

Hi,

You’ll find lots of sandalwood trees near the hot springs on the third island. There are both hardwood and sandalwood trees in the volcano jungle.
