Should we help other countries?

should we better our selves and face the problems in america or should we help other countries?

Answer #1

As far as the government goes, we should help other countries only to the degree we think it benefits us. The US government is not the organization for international charity.

Let charity fill that role.

Answer #2

believe it or not america has the most problems in the world theres really nothing nice bout the us, its the greediest country

Answer #3

Considering…you never hear of middle class folks blowing themselves up for the cause, it’s always poor people…well, maybe, if everybody had clear opportunity to improve their lives and their families, then there would probably be less terrorism, you think?

Answer #4

I think we should help the us first becauseee.. if we dont we might have problems other countries have((no offsnese anywhere))

then we should help other countries. our own country is already going to pott

Answer #5

whos “we”? theres the people and then the government. theres a lot more going on then they want you to believe. stop listening to your authority figures, its all lies.

Answer #6

I think we should help them b-cause…what if we really need help 1 day…I would want some one to have my back…

Answer #7

Face the problem in America before others!

Answer #8

It depends on what you mean by “we”.

Foreign aid distributed by the US government doesn’t do much good, and is really just a political tool. It’s typically below pledged amounts, and is smaller as a percentage of Gross National Income than almost every other First World country. In short, US Foreign Aid sucks.

Charity from the American people is another matter. Americans give more than twice as much to charity as their government does. That includes US foundations, companies, religious organizations, college scholarships to foreign students, American NGO’s, and private contributions. Remittances and charitable giving from Americans total nearly $300 billion, which is more than any other country.

So, to sum it up, our government is bad at giving to people in need, and we shouldn’t trust them to do it. We should trust ourselves, because we do a much better job.
