Should we break up?

I have been dating this guy for about 3 years now on and off. He joined the marines last year so we don’t see each other much. In June we decided to break up because we were both misserable having a long distance relasionship. Although we still talked on the phine and he never stopped telling me he loved me. He came home on the 4th of July but I was at the beach. He asked if I wanted to get back together but I never gave a straight answer until a couple of days after the 4th. We decided we loved each other and were going to make it work. Then he told me that over the break he got really drunk at this party and had sex with this girl that I associate with. We weren’t going out so should I be mad? I’m so upset what should I do?

I can’t really say he cheated because we weren’t technically going out. The thing that bothers me most is that this girl does it with everyone I can’t belive he was that desperate. He apoligizes every day w/out me asking . He says he loves me more than aything and how im the one he wants to marry. I just cant stop thinking about what he did.

The first thing that goes when you get drunk is your judgement, I’d like to say break up with him, but I know if that happened to me and my boyfriend I would try to forgive him, think of it this way, at least he told you and you didn’t find out from the girl… if you ever got drunk and got into this situation, what would you want him to do? Do you think he still deserves you?
