Should the moratorium be extended?

For Internet users, the scariest night of this year may fall on the evening after Halloween. On November 1, the federal Internet tax moratorium is due to expire, and no committee in Congress has acted to make it permanent - Should it be extended or should add another tax (internet tax) ?

This is one of those creative plays to generate more money, for little reason, by the government, imho. A lot of states (California as an example) you still pay sales tax for what you purchase over the internet…so, a tax above & beyond that is quite simply lunacy :)

However, few people accuse governments of sane policies…I just hope that the Republican executive branch being the good, tax fighters that they have been (grin) so far, they’ll extend the moratorium further, or indefinitely.
