Should I turn a friend into a life long partner?
I’m 18 I’ve been friends with this guy since I was 4. I’ve always wanted to be with him but never told him how I felt. Recently he has expressed that he feels the same way for me. He lives in Texas and I now live in Missouri. He’s wanting to move here to Missouri so we can have a relationship and we both want it to last.I’m excited that what I’ve wanted for years is finally happening yet in the back of my head I’m worried if it doesn’t work what will happen to our friendship. If anyone has been in this situation I would appreciate hearing your opinion.

You should see if you both want the same thing because you both could be losing a life time friendship. If i was you i would not but after you both talk then make a choice,.

You’ve liked him for ages and he feels the same way so I say go for it! Believe me, if you don’t take the chance now and it passes regret is a hard thing to live with. And that’s a rational worry but if it doesn’t work out I’m sure you’ll still be there for each other because you’ve had that close bond since you were 4!
