Should I trust him?

Thanks for answering, we both went to counceling right after he told me. I felt like he was just saying want they wanted to hear. He is very good at that. I wonder if I should just turn my head sometimes. We have two kids, I really don’t want to get a divorce. Do you think any woman can really trust a man?

Dear hkj78, Well you have children and you don’t want a divorce…so then it is up to you to decide if you want to trust him. If you do then the counsellor will give you some very clear ideas on how to do that. If you truly believe he will never gain your trust then he won’t no matter how hard he tries. He hasn’t convinced you yet he is truly sorry and isn’t going to go back to that lifestyle or you would be starting to see the progress. With the way you feel about the counselling it is now time to go to individual counsellors…you both have issues that are different and like I said addictions are powerful and unless he gets rehab he could relapse back into some old patterens.
