Should I tell my best guy friend that I like him?

I live next door to my best guy friend, and we have been so close for years. We tell each-other everything, but recently, I’ve started to fall in love with him, but I don’t have the guts to tell him and ruin the friendship. Soon afterwards, he asked me “which guy in our year do you fancy?” he went through every guy we know, and I said that he hadn’t said him yet. (this took him an hour to get through) Then he started going out with this other girl, who I guess is ok, but ever since he’s been going out with her, he’s stopped talking to me, and is really quiet. He keeps secrets from me now and I really want to tell him that I love him, but I don’t want to ruin our friendship. Im trying to be happy for him, but how can I when my heart is breaking?? Help!!!

Well maybe I think you should tell him the truth on how you really feel about him. I told my bf that I love him and when we were dateing I told him how I liked him sience I was in the seventh grade. He did not mind at all. I dont think it should ruin your friendship with him. It dont hurt to try things at all.
