Should I quit nursing for medical school?

dont look it the monetary side of things, think about which you would prefer to do. you say your close to finishing your nursing degree so maybe you could do both. your never too old to study btw! I know people in their seventies doing degrees! Good luck with whatever you decide to do

but technically, I am getting (or am to most of the people on here) old!

5 years uni based doing the medicine degree and then 5 years (approx) as a junior. but when I qualigy from nursing, which won’t be long now, I’ll be able to do therapy and councilling (which I have always loved!). but the starting salary for a grade e nurse (what you qualify at) is on 20,000 GBP. whereas medicine, when you have done your 5 years degree you start you junior post at £40,000 - more than what the matrons I work with earn?…

I have the knowledge and dedication. but do I have the time??? pooo
