should I let him go?

2 months ago I started to date a dude name Dakota, We have been going off and on getin mad at each other and asking to forgive.. Ok well some time last week his girlfriend txted me and was tellin me he was in lock up and how she dont want me to txt his phone no more. well I did not know if I should belive that was his girlfriend or him caz He did this to me befor. The next day his girlfriend/him txted me and said Dakota is comein home and I still cant txt then she txt and said we are fight now caz He said he still loves me. Well then I guess he started to txt and said Kyra im sorry can we get back together well Yeah I got back with him.. Two hours later he said that was his girlfriend playin with me.. well I cared but I told him I didn’t, then he did the same thing but I guess it was for real.. and I said Yes. The next day he txted me and said “ Kyra I dont care about you I never really loved you and I cheated on you with a lot of other girls..” Well I was hurt.. and Again he said sorry.. Its hard to let go of someone you really care about but I need help in this.. How can I let him go? I care bout him a lot and He dont even know . I tried everything. I tried to tell him how I feel I tried to tell him to stop txtin me and comein by but some how he always win my heart back.. I need help In deep deep deeply in love that I need to get out of. Someone tell me how to let him go.
