Should I just forget about him?

The guy I like is, well, a couple years older, and my family kinda has a problem with that. I never see him, because we have no classes together at school, and are both usually busy after school. He keeps avoiding me for like a week at a time out of nowhere, because he thinks I’m mad at him, which is what actually gets me kinda mad. He the jealous type “a lot” as he says..and I don’t know if I can put up with another majorly jealous guy, because well I one of those girls that is “one of the guys” and have so many guy friends. And, I have just been really doubting if I really like him as much as I did before. Should I just forget about him?

I think you should forget him.I had this boyfriend that was 4 years older than me.He was really jealous and would ignore me a lot and I just couldnt take it anymore.I dont regret it for a second I think I made an excellent decision bc now I have a boyfriend that im in love with.when you close a door the other opens.but really if you like him a lot and are having second thaoughts about giving him up then stay with him for a while and tell him how you feel if it doesnt get better then you should let him go.

I think you should move on. When I was about 16, I had this boyfriend who was older and he was very jealous as well. He also avoided me for like 3 days at a time. I just shrugged it off and acted like nothing was wrong…but the truth is, he was a VERY insecure person who would take those three days and go have sex with random girls to reassure his self that He was a cool person. I don’t mean to say that your boyfriend is going off doing the same thing, but I’d just be careful with jealous guys because they tend to be shady.
