Should I get pink highlights in my hair?

Ok, I really luv pink! So I thought that before school starts again… That I get a cute chopped up, layered hair cut, about 3 in. Passed my shoulders, w/ some pink highlights here and there! My mom says that it will really damage my hair, but I really think dark hair w/ pink would look awesome! Should I risk the health of my hair this young(14), or only get the cute haircut!

I have pink in my dark hair and I LOVE it! Its kind of a pain because you have to keep re-dying it pink or it turns kinda orangey.. but its not that big of a deal! It looks great! GO FOR IT!

no ; I dont like dark hair with colors in it ; go more natrual colors ; blonde ; brown ; black ; red ; whatever . but yeah ; dont do it .

Any dye has effect on your hair, but damage is a very harsh word. As long as you treat it with shampoo and conditioner (possibly the kind made for colored hair) and look out for split ends your hair will maintain its health.

I say you should go for it! PInk would look amazing in dark hair!!! Pink will also have you stand out at school (in a good way). Don’t be afraid to show yourself for who you are!

I want sum pink in my hair too. its dark too. im scared for the same reason, so im going to get extentions, so I can change the colour wenever I want. But I just dont know where I can get them just yet.
