should I get my cartialige peirced?

well I want to get my cartilage pierced but my dad is being so annoying and saying that I could get an infection from it and all my friends have theirs how do I get him to change his mind?

okay, 1.YOU HAVE TO CLEAN IT! 2.dont let towles,hair,shampoo, get in there… 3.it really depends about your skin type it may affect the way it heals!

You’re only 13, just be patient. Don’t rush these things. Besides if you repect your dads decision it will make family mattersjust that much easier

You will need parental permission at your age to get your piercing professionally done, so you should respect his decision for now.

it’s extremely painless, and it’s really hard to get infected. just clean it regularly. I’ve had mine done three times, on both ears. but I let them grow up.

He is your father and you should listen to him but if you can gather up enough information about it and maybe have some of your friends tell him that theirs never got infected and that you promise to keep it clean, and just be nice about and not bug him then maybe he’ll come around. I have mine done on both ears and they’ve never gotten infected but do need to be cleaned quite a bit in the beginning
