Should I fight for the 1 I love or lose a friend over the1 I like?

Ok, so my boyfriend for 10 months who recently dumped me told me last night that we both need to move on and stop talking to eachother..I personally dont think its a good idea cause of course im still in love with him.

A new boy moved to my school right after christmas break and hes very hott but my friend dated him for a month..and while they were dating and me and my boyfriend were dating me and this new guy started talking and got to know eachother real well so now we like eachother..well now each of us are single and I really want to date him but im still in love with my ex :( and I dont want to make my friend mad at me.. Any advice?

agreed with outcast However, be carful it’s not misplaced feelings you have for this boy you like. Perhaps try talking to your ex to figure out his reasons for breaking it off so you can gain a since of closer.

She could be the person who dates other people And since he wants to loose contact with her, I highly doubt that.

It’s tough to move on if you’re still in love with someone, but they don’t love you. But, if he wants to stop talking to you there’s really very little you can do about it. A relationship takes two people.

People do different things to help them move on. Some spend time alone. Some begin dating someone else right away. Some surround themselves with friends and family. If you like this other guy, and he feels the same way about you, make a move. Just be careful: when someone starts to move on, it can often make their ex jealous, and there’s a good chance he’ll try to get back together with you. I really recommend not doing that. It’ll make the other guy feel used, and you’ll likely end up being more hurt in the end. Something, obviously, made him want to break up with you, and there’s little chance that that thing has changed.

go after the one you love not someone you like. you only get so many friends but if you and this guy you like go out talk to your friend and try to explain things to her. if she is your true friend she will understand.
