Should I do something about my appearance and weight?

Well I’m 14, I’m 5”6 ish and I weigh about 80kg. And I try to work out, I do press ups, sit ups I try to diet but I can’t stick it out, I’m not getting more musculare, even though I try, and I’m quite chubby, my friends say they don’t care that I’m chubby and girls hug me and say I’m like a “a teddy bear” or a marshmallow but I don’t know should I try to diet and keep on going with the working out? Please help I’m half way through year 3!! Help me!!

I suggest that yuu runn.. am a lil chunky too but I have a lot of mucsle in my legs but if yuu run and do cardiovascular yu’ll lose weight and dont deit..just watch yur calories and eat healthy food
