Should I change schools?

I really hate going to my school. I have to get up at 5:30am every morning, which is bad, because I get home at 5:30pm, and have to do homework until at earliest 11. And I cant do it in study hall, because people are SO LOUD there, including the teacher! And they let you chew gum, so it’s very hard to concentrate on my work.

But I’m really not sure if I can switch schools, because I might just not be used to the school year. But my friends are very annoying: they try to look at all of the personal things I have. Should I go to a different school?

Changing school rarely helps your situation. People don’t exactly accept you if you happen to be “the new kid.” Try to solve your problem with your friends. Tell them they’re being annoying and you don’t want them looking through your stuff and didn’t their mothers teach them any manners? (You might want to phrase that nicer.) If all else fails, grin and bear it until you graduate from high school. Things will only get better from there.
