Should I Ask Her?

Ok , so this is my first question so here it goes. Theres this girl that I’ve been friends with for what seems like forever. I’ve grown to like her a lot. I kind of hinted to it about 6 months ago but she said not now cause she had a boyfriend. About a week ago she came crying to me cause her boyfriend was cheating on her. (I’m not complaining that she came crying to me) I still like her a lot and we are even closer friends now because some things happened near the end of her relationship. (boyfriend tried to have sex with her, almost rape, but either way she didnt like it. Im wondering if I should ask her out again like now or give her sometime to heal. (doesnt really trust guys now) Help would be appreciated cause were going to different high schools but she says that were still going to be really close.

I would give her time, and be there for her a lot but give her space at the same time and when she really trusts you and you can tell ask her out

I say you should talk to her and see how she feels and if she feels completely over him then ask her out but if she still kind of likes him in any way then you should wait

she’d probably trust you but you should giver her time to heal and comfort her first, then ask when you think she is ready.

I think you should give her at least a week to be better then if she’s better ask her out might work

omg thats awful I feel so bad for her! I think you should give her some time to let her heal. even though she doesnt trust guys now there is a good chance that she probably trusts you since you didnt do anything to hurt her and you where there for her and you guys have been friends for quite some time now.. I dont know though if you feel it in your heart that your ready to ask her then you should if your still not to sure about asking her then wait it out. I have the same problem I think you should go ahead and ask her if your really close bc she will trust u
