Something went wrong!
Hang in there while we get back on track
should I?
I don’t know if I should stay in school or get a job. I’m a single mom on welfare and I don’t even know if I’ll graduate this year. Should I just stay in school or get a job?
Get that diploma - it opens so many doors which will enable you to have a better quality of life…HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!
No, stay in school till you accomplish your goal. I am a full time mom of 3 girls, I work plus go to school to accomplish my GED, I am going on my 4th year now, it is extremely hard but anyone can do it if they really want it!
Stay in school. That way, when you are looking for a serious job, there are more choices..which will probably end up paying a lot better. I hope things go well for you.
Your education is your ticket out of your present circumstances. Without proper education and training, most likely a job will simply nail you to the wall without any probable chance for advancement in your life.
Just remember that it is never what is in front of you that blocks your way in life. It is simply that which is inside of you that holds you back.
The decisions that you make today will affect you and your baby for the rest of your lives. Use your head, be smart about it, and take as much advantage of what is available to you today. Don’t let it slip by. If not for you, then for the baby. You’ll never regret that you did.
:-)
You need to kep going to school. If people with College Degrees are being layed off, where do you think a GED comes in at?? You can finish, then take online course, classes through community programs, which many offer free computer classes. Hopefully your plight will serve notice to all the girls wanting kids without being married or being finanacially secure. Babies+ Lack of education= being on here looking for answers. Stay in school, and try getting a part time job, then schedule time for one day jobs like cleaning out someones garage, running errands, typing papers etc.
Bolth… Mostly school but if you need finacial support start a job first.
